Bomb goes off at tech corridor eatery Bengaluru, 9 injured

Bengaluru : -Bomb goes off at a tech corridor and nine people were injured, three of them seriously. A timer operated bomb planted at a popular Rameshwaram Café exploded on Friday afternoon.  Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah it “ A Low intensity blast caused by an improvised explosive device (IED). As latest information Late night cops detained a man for question. Siddaramaiah said, “Preliminary prob says it is a low-intensity blast… we will not spare anyone. After Mangalore blast, this is 2nd such incident, I urge the opposition to not politicize the issue”.

The IED placed allegedly by an undefined man who was ordered rava idly in a and in a 7 minutes visit, exploded at café in Brookfield, ITP road, when eatery was teeming with about 250 customers, mostly employees of software companies and financial services firms. Meantime Karnataka state BJP Unit president BY Vijayendra said “Government should order probe and spare not efforts in apprehending the perpetrators. We urge the police to eradicate such elements from the core  without yielding to any political pressures”,.
