Chandigarh, March 13 : The Punjab and Haryana High Court has asked the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Chandigarh to visit PGIMER, Chandigarh and get the statement of Preetpal Singh recorded regarding the circumstances surrounding the injuries sustained by him.

The petition filed by Davinder Singh, father of Preetpal Singh had alleged that his son Preetpal was  illegally detained by the Haryana Police during the farmers protest at Khanauri Border. It was alleged by petitioner that preetpal was severely injured by the Haryana Police and he got injuries on both his legs as well as his head.
