Mann visits Radha Soami Sect Beas Headquarter

Amritsar : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann accompanied with his wife, newly born daughter, father-in-law and Mother-in-Law today reached Radha Soami sect Headquarter in Beas 45 kilometers away from here today to seek blessings of sect chief  Gurinder Singh Dhillon.

Earlier, Mann’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, her mother and father arrived at Radha Soami headquarter at 11.00 a. and after  20 minutes of her arrival, Mann reached there at 11.20 a.m by road.

During his visit, none of the political persons, any party colleague was with him when he came here to meet sect chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon.

Last week, Mann sent a request to sect chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon for his glimpse by saying that he was keen to visit here along with his family members to seek blessings.

Mann with his wife and her family members spent two hours with the sect chief and discussed light routine issues since no special political discussions were held during the meet.

Mrs. & Mar. Mann and family relatives were shown the entire Radha Soami sect setup and entire eco-friendly infrastructure by the sect chief. They visited the Beas based mini Airport (airstrip), Community kitchen (Langar) where they keenly watched the chapati making process by the devotees (volunteers)  , shopping mall areas, Beas river, forest area. Before leaving at 1.40. p.m they had food with the sect chief.

It was the first visit of Mann at Beas after assuming the office of Chief Minister Punjab as the earlier sect chief had met Mann at Chandigarh in the month of March this year.

The visit of the chief minister ahead of the 2024 General parliament Elections is being closely watched.

Earlier in November 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Sect chief at Bead Headquarter, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat last year in December 2023 visited here to meet Dhillon. Haryana former Chief Minister Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also visited here last year September 2023. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had visited in March 2023.
