Bhau gang’s shooter Ajay killed in police encounter

Rohtak : The shooter Ajay Singroha alias Goli, a resident of village Ritoli in Rohtak district associated with Portugal based gangster Himanshu Bhau, spreading terror while sitting abroad was killed in a police encounter by special police cell from Delhi.  On information that Ajay was coming to village Khera Khurd at outer Delhi laid a trap since he was involved in a large number of criminal  cases and police looking for his arrest had also visited his village a few days ago and took his several friends in their possession.

“We received information that Ajay alias Goli, a sharpshooter of Himanshu Bhau’s gang, was to come to Khera Khurd village in outer Delhi, subsequently, a team was formed and a trap was laid,” a senior police officer said the shooter was intercepted by the team in his car during night at around 11.30 p.m. on Thursday and he was signalled to stop, but the accused opened fire indiscriminately on the police team. According to police information Ajay  received injuries in the firing, had two gunshots in his Honda City car, was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors.

On May 6, the accused along with an associate opened fire at a second-hand luxury car showroom in Tilak Nagar Delhi injuring seven people in firing . After leaving behind a handwritten note bearing the names of three gangsters: Himanshu Bhau, Neeraj Faridkot and Naveen Bali. He had made a call to the owner of the showroom demanding Rs 5 crore ransom money from him. The accused was involved in several cases related to murder, attempt to murder, cheatings, ransom demand and the Arms Act. He was also involved in a businessman Gulshan’s murder in Murthal in Sonipat district  on March 10. The victim was dragged out of his car outside the ‘dhaba’ and he managed to flee  to save himself but was shot dead.

Himanshu alias Bhau also a resident of village Rivoli in Rohtak district was operating a gang along with two other gangsters Neeraj Bawana and Naveen Bali and was wanted by Haryana police in large number of cases including Murders, attempt to murder, ransom demand and was most wanted by Jhajjar police in Haryana and in a case registered against him in Delhi, and was absconding since  2020. Bhau managed to flee abroad on the basis of a fake passport and started running a criminal racket from abroad.
