Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann paid obeisance at Sri Harimandir Sahib

Amritsar : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday paid obeisance at Sri Harimandir Sahib  (Golden Temple) on May 16.

While talking to the media outside Sri Darbar Sahib, Kejriwal said that he has come here to pray for the peace and welfare of Punjab. Sachkhand Sri Harimandir Sahib is the center of devotion for crores of people. It is a matter of good fortune for me to be here.

Arvind Kejriwal has come to Punjab for the first time after coming out of jail. On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Amritsar Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and a large number of party supporters were also present.

Later he also paid obeisance at Sri Durgiana Temple in Amritsar and received the blessings of the goddess.

Talking to the media outside the temple, Kejriwal said that he offered prayers at Sri Durgiana Temple for the peace and prosperity of Punjab. We prayed to the goddess for the progress and happiness of the people of Punjab. It is my wish that the blessings of the goddess always remain with the people.

After coming out of jail, Arvind Kejriwal has come to Punjab for the first time. He also did a road show with Bhagwant Mann in Amritsar.
