BJP have no issue except creating differences between castes and religion : Bhupinder Hooda

*Congress sure to form next government in Haryana

Rohtak: Over the Congress’s increase in number of seats and vote share in Haryana in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda while addressing a press conference at his residence asserted that Congress would form the next government in the State as the people were disenchanted with the ruling BJP government in the state. Hooda while addressing said, there had been a significant improvement in the electoral performance of the Congress. The party’s alliance in Haryana received the highest percentage of votes in the country at 47.61%. during present Lok Sabha polls having a remarkable increase in the Congress’s vote share from 28% in 2019 to almost 48% in 2024, whereas the BJP saw a decline from 58% to 46% which indicates a strong anti-incumbency wave in Haryana. Hooda said, Congress alliance has witnessed 20% increase in votes, whereas BJP has suffered 12% drop and an anti-government wave going on in Haryana state indicates that BJP is likely to be wiped out of the state during coming Vidhan Sabha polls likely to be held in October this year.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda accused the ruling BJP government in Haryana of having no issue except creating differences between castes and religion, whereas Congress is a party to unite 36 ‘Biradari’ in the state. He said, people are not interested in listening to 400 ke paar’ slogans but actual performance of a party which has been observed in present Lok Sabha polls. Hooda said that ruling BJP government in past about 10 years have not brought any power plant, a large university, a metro, new railway track or any prominent project in the state, but on the other hand has brought Haryana state under debt for amount worth Rs 4.5 lakh crore in this period for which people in the state would raise a question at the time of coming Vidhan Sabha polls after a couple of months in the state. Hooda said that people of Haryana state would neglect the candidates of ‘Vote Katu’ political parties in the state as seen in present Lok Sabha polls.
