‘Remove Modi Pariwar’ tag from your profile, ordered PM to Workers: is under pressure of RSS?

New Delhi : ‘I am bigger than the team’ – he has been enjoying this dream the most. And today that image is falling fast! Born in 1980, the Bharatiya Janata Party was a party of collective leadership. In the last 10 years, his identity has changed in the Modi Janata Party. Keeping the NDA under wraps, the government was also named ‘Modi government’. ‘Party or government promises’, that too were ‘Modi’s guarantee’. It was not said that ‘BJP can do it’. The slogan was created, ‘Modi hai to mumkin hai’. However, a single election result has ended this tyranny of Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister himself, on the first day of his new government, gave instructions to the party member and its followers that no one should associate the phrase ‘Modi’s family’ with their name, that part should be removed. Modi’s message, this love from all over the country gave him strength during the election. After that, he said, the countrymen have given the majority to the NDA. That phrase will be dropped, but we will be part of the same family and move forward with the goal of improving the country by maintaining this bond.

What is significant in this case? ‘Us’ or ‘We’. “I” aside ! Why? The answer is only one – the pressure of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). For last10 years, he made the BJP his own party, raising questions about the declining fate of the RSS. But took this opportunity, the Sangh raised its voice to corner Modi, the result of which is this change. Before the polls, there was a craze across the country among BJP leaders, activists, ministers and supporters to write ‘Modi’s family’ next to their names. The reason is only one, Modi always attacks and insults opponents with familyism, why is he not responsible for his own family ? The opposition raised this question, and then the trend started. After the disastrous result in the election, now Modi himself asked to remove it ! And in that one message, it is more clear, RSS is not sitting with closed eyes.

On Monday, Sarsangchalak Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘To be a volunteer, one must be humble, arrogance is forbidden. There is no room for egoism here.’ This ‘advice’ of Bhagwat is not an isolated incident.

In the recent issue of the Sangh’s mouthpiece ‘Organizer’, the BJP leadership has been lambasted. It clearly states, “This is what happens with overconfidence, arrogance and lack of touch with the grassroots. You can’t win an election just by giving big slogans, posters and selfies. You have to work on the ground. In this election, did Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh workers asked for any help ? No, it did not asked for. BJP has assumed that RSS is probably BJP’s field worker. It has been forgotten that the Sangh is no one’s worker”.

However, even the biggest fans did not think that the Sangh would bring Narendra Modi’s party and strategy to the table. In that article, Ratan Sharda, a long-time member of the RSS, wrote, “The overly egocentric leadership of the BJP thinks that only they understand politics. RSS workers are probably mere village clowns”. RSS workers are probably mere village buffoons. Old workers who were dedicated to the party have been rendered irrelevant. Increased reliance has been shown on new age social media oriented and selfie centric communications. This has caused great damage to the BJP. RSS feels that the reason for the anger of the grassroot workers and common people is the lack of communication with the leaders. People’s representatives think that they are so important that no one can meet them ! But what is the significant part of this attack of RSS ? Where it is said, Modiji is actually fighting in 543 seats… There is a limit to thinking about it ! This thinking is suicidal.

Further, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat opened his mouth practically on the tune of the opposition, causing great discomfort in the inner circle of the BJP party. Although discussion is there that he did not comment on this publicly, it is being said within the sangh forum and party that Bhagwat did not say anything wrong. He has shown the way like a true statesman. Congress sarcasm on this, to whom (Narendra Modi) is addressed, will he listen at all ? Will he correct himself ? Bhagwat detonated the bomb at the meeting of Sangh apprentices in Nagpur yesterday. His advice was to see the opposition as rivals rather than opponents. According to him, the opponents put forward another idea. Therefore, he advocated giving importance to the opposition in politics. Especially after the election, Sarsangchalak also brought forward the anger of the Sangh workers who criticized the Modi government without naming them publicly and gave a message to stand by them.

The Sangh chief also raised the issue of ‘offensive language’ yesterday. In his words, “There should be a dignity during the election campaign. That dignity was not respected.” At the same time, Bhagwat also spoke about the situation in Manipur, which has been in turmoil for a year. Which has put the BJP top leadership in a lot of trouble.

In the last 10 years under the leadership of Modi, the distance between the BJP and the Sangh Parivar was gradually increased. This time the distance is even more evident as a result of the vote. From the beginning, the RSS objected to the theme on which the BJP campaigned. In addition, trying to win the elections with the strength of BJP workers alone by cornering the Sangh workers is a boomerang for Narendra Modi-Amit Shah. Due to the neglect, the angry Sangh workers practically sat down even before the first round of voting. As a result, BJP got bad results in states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra or Rajasthan.
