Filmfare Announces “69th SOBHA Filmfare Awards South 2024”

Bengaluru : Filmfare has announced the “69th SOBHA Filmfare Awards South 2024” in collaboration with Kamar Film Factory at a press conference held at SOBHA Neopolis, Bangalore. This prestigious event honours the best in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema. A special surprise at the press conference saw dignitaries unveiling the iconic black lady trophy for the awards, including actors Malavika Mohanan and Rukmini Vasanth, Jitesh Pillaai (Editor-in-Chief of Filmfare), Sumeet Chunkhare (Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of SOBHA Limited), and Kamar D of Kamar Film Factory.

Adding to the excitement, Filmfare announced the nominations for the upcoming awards. The list features prominent figures across all four cinema industries, including Chiranjeevi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chinmayi Sripada, Nagabhushana, Mani Ratnam, Anand Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ramya Krishnan, Trisha Krishnan, Rama, Anantha Sriram, Biju Menon, Arvind Venugopal, Darshan, Rakshit Shetty, Suka, Siddharth, Joju George, Shreya Ghoshal, Anwar Ali, Anaswara Rajan, and Navya Nair.
