Ex-armyman killed brother’s family of six for 1 acre land dispute said he has no regrets for this crime

Ex armyman Bhushan, who had brutlly killed his 45 years old brother and four members of  his family including wife (40), two daughters of age 7 and 5 and a six months old son with sharp-edged weapon and put all of them on fire in which they had sustained more than 50% burns. The crime was done by the brother due to only one acre land property dispute. According to police information, four members succumbed to their injuries at the spot, whereas 5 years old daughter (Parri) was referred to PGIMS Chandigarh crying with pain due to injuries and burns, but could not be saved by the doctors and she died after about 40 hours.

Ambala SP Surinder Singh Bhoria while talking to media persons said a search operation was conducted and Bhushan, who is the prime accused has been arrested along with his wife Poonam, brother-in-laws Tony and Jony . He said an SIT has been formed and CCTV footage is being obtained, further investigation is underway. In his complaint, ex-serviceman Bhushan’s father Om Prakash said there was a land dispute between his sons Harish and Bhushan. Unhappy with his decision to divide a two-acre land between the two, Bhushan, along with his wife, two sons and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, killed his mother Surti wanterda compromise between both, brother Harish, besides Harish’s wife Sonia and children Pari, Taru and Mayank.

The police arrested Bhushan, his wife Poonam, and brothers-in-law Tony and Jony for their alleged involvement in the case and were produced in Ambala court on Tuesday and Poonam was sent to judicial remand, whereas the remaining three were sent to police remand for a day. The prime accused Bhushan said that he has no regrets for killing his brother, mother and other members of his brother’s family. Meanwhile, police recovered sharp-edged weapons used in killings, key of the tractors and rods used in crime in sugarcane field at a distance of 500 meters away from the house, whereas Tony and Jony took their sharp-edged weapons to Saha after the incident. Bhushan admitted killings of all victims by him only and no one else is responsible for their death, whereas, Om Parkash, his father presently admitted in Chandigarh hospital, who was present when crime took place  made a statement to police that all of them were involved in killings.

According to Ramesh Kumar, an eyewitness who had saved seven years old ‘Parri’ with severe burns and who had jumped in a nearby water tank to save her life and also informed on Dual 112 about the mishap said police that ‘Parri’  who was crying with pains had been constantly requesting him to save his mother, seven years old sister Taru, six months old brother Mayank and herself and it was a most pathetic scene in his life. Ramesh also remained with ‘Parri’ when she was under treatment at PGIMS Chandigarh, requesting him again and again to save her life.
