Mamata Banerjee is only playing politics after leaving the NITI Aayog meeting: Anil Vij

Ambala: Former Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij when talking to media persons here on Sunday commented on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee leaving the NITI Aayog meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the Finance Minister’s statement has come that she had finished her speech while her turn was supposed to come later. By stepping out, she is only playing politics. Vij was responding to media person’s queries about Mamata Banerjee’s leaving from the NITI Aayog meeting. Notably, Mamata Banerjee claimed she was the only opposition representative at the meeting but was not allowed to speak.

Regarding Rahul Gandhi sitting with a cobbler, sewing sandals and asking how shoes are made, Vij remarked Rahul’s politics is over, so now he is looking for some job or business. He is trying various things, like seeing how motorcycle repairs are done, how seeds are sown in agriculture fields and now how shoes are polished to select one of these jobs. Rahul Gandhi also gave the cobbler a shoe-stitching machine, to which Vij commented that it’s a good thing they have given something since this family has never given anything to anyone before.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi claimed that there have been 14 attacks in Jammu and Kashmir since the formation of the government. Responding, Vij said, since the abrogation of Article 370, there has been significant control over terrorist activities. However, observing election activities, Pakistan is making noise, but our forces are giving a strong reply.

Kumari Selja has started her ‘Jan Sandesh Yatra’ from Ambala, and before that Deepender Hooda also conducted a ‘Yatra’ in Ambala. Regarding this, Vij said, Congress is no longer a single party; it has different factions. A party with no democratic system cannot protect the country’s democracy. This is a gang of different factions that come together to loot.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife has visited Haryana and stated that the Aam Aadmi Party has improved governance in Delhi and Punjab, and now it’s Haryana’s turn. In response, Vij said it’s good that she has come for campaigning; everyone has the right in democracy. But it’s amusing that she is citing Delhi and Punjab as examples. Vij said, look at the terrible state they have created in Delhi and the same situation exists in Punjab. People defeated them in Delhi despite their government being in place.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann claimed to have provided 43,000 jobs without any paper leaks, whereas every paper in Haryana leaks. Responding on this, Vij said where do leaks happen? Even if there are minor incidents, action is taken by our government and we have also provided around 1.25 lakh jobs in the state.

Former Home Minister Vij congratulated female shooter Manu Bhaker on Twitter, writing, “desh kee naaz hariyaana kee mahila shootar manu bhaakar ne peris mein apana dam dikha diya hai. manu bhaakar ne peris olampik mein 10 meetar mahila eyar pistal ivent mein desh ke lie kaansy padak jeeta. jis par poore desh aur hariyaana pradesh ko garv hai.”
