Congress and AAP playing friendly match in Haryana politics : Aseem Goel

Ambala: While addressing media persons here Haryana Transport and Women & Child Welfare Minister Aseem Goel said that both Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are playing friendly matches in the state politics, whereas AAP has become merely an ‘Vote Katu’ party. On a media question regarding former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and MP from Sirsa Kumari Shelja both organizing separate ‘Yatras’ to undertake poll promotion for coming assembly polls in the state and exhibit their power. Goel said Congress  leaders are claiming to win 70 Vidhan Sabha seats in coming assembly elections, whereas Congress itself is divided in 70 groups which clearly indicates that Congress leaders have neither unity nor intention and their slogan ’70 ke paar’ is likely to collapse, since senior party leaders in the absence of unity are organizing separate  processions to exhibit their power.

Goel said, AAP has declared to contest in all 90 Vidhan Sabha in coming assembly elections in Haryana and Sunita Kejriwal in a recent rally has announced to hold 50 poll rallies in the state prior to polls. He said, every political party is free to hold as many rallies as possible for the poll promotion in a democratic country. He said, it is merely a friendly match in which after  forming a government in Delhi, AAP had an opportunity to form a government in Punjab but failed to win even a single seat in any other state they contested polls. Goel said, Rahul Gandhi is passing through a tourism period involved in different activities. He was brought up in Western culture and is unaware where wheat crops grow, how sugar is manufactured and yet trying to learn Indian culture from the root level as well as passing through his travel period.

On a media question regarding just declared  Union budget, Goel said that this budget is fit for the welfare of common person as well as youths and likely to provide employment opportunities to over 30 lakh youths under various welfare schemes and provide technical know how to nearly 20 lakh youths since government has decided to open 1000 ITIs in the state to boost start ups and provide them financial assistance to set up self-employment units.
