Amritsar, August 3, Darbara Singh working as an account clerk in the SGPC office was brutally killed by the SGPC employee here today.

Confirming the incident police said that this afternoon victim Darbara Singh was allegedly stabbed with a small sword by Sukhbir Singh who was also an employee (sewadar)  of the SGPC . The incident took place in the SGPC office adjoining the Golden Temple complex.

SGPC secretary Partap Singh said that both Darbara Singh and Sukhbir Singh were known to each other and having some family relations. Today after 1.00 p.m both were indulged in some heated arguments whereupon Sukhbir Singh in a fit of anger attacked Darbara Singh who was immediately shifted to SGPC hospital in a serious condition where he succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, SGPC has reported the matter to police besides ordering the high level probe behind the gruesome incident in the SGPC complex.
