Jammu : An army officer lost his life in an encounter with terrorists in the Akar forest area of Doda on Wednesday.

According to official sources, Captain Deepak led the operation from the front, guiding his team in their efforts to eliminate the terrorists. During the intense exchange of fire, Captain Deepak sustained gunshot wounds. He was evacuated to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The search operation in the area remains ongoing at the time of this report.
