Beware of fake CM Flying Squad conducting raids

Charkhi Dadri : A fake team of CM Flying Squad is active in conducting raids at the medical stores located in rural areas, allegedly involved in checking the registration and the medicine stocks in the medical stores, threatening the owners of the stores to seal their shops for one reason or the other in order to collect amount towards bribe. Information revealed that the members of the gang also included a female member accompanied by a person in police uniform. The flying squad gang had conducted raid on August 16 at a medical store in village Sanwad in Charkhi Dadri district, followed by another incident of an fake raid at a medical store on Jui Road at Barhada in Charkhi Dadri district on Wednesday when the raiding team comprising of five to six members including a female and another person in police uniform, all having covered their faces with mask arrived at the medical store and started checking stocks and other documents, since the pharmacist was not present at the shop they threatened to seal the medical store.

When the members of raiding team asked to disconnect CCTV connection, the owner of the store Pradeep Kumar suspected a foul smell and contacted the police post in the area, and in the meanwhile few shopkeepers also gathered and unmasked the faces of CM Flying Squad members, who immediately managed to slip in two cars. Meanwhile, a police team arrived at the medical store, checked the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the shop and started investigation for the arrest of cheats falsely posing as members of CM Flying Squad.
Investigation revealed that fake CM Flying Squad members had collected Rs 27,000 during the raid conducted at a medical store at village Samvad on August 16 threatening to seal the store. Information also revealed that the fake Squad members, consisting of two females having covered their faces with masks, had also raided a medical store owned by Manoj Kumar at Salhawas in Jhajjar district and collected stocks of costly general medicines along with Rs 15,000 towards bribe, threatening to seal his medical store. According to police information, they are trying to investigate the medical stores where the members of the fake CM Squad had conducted raids and collected money towards bribes. The registration number of both vehicles in which gang members were travelling were identified in the footage of CCTV cameras. Police claim to arrest them soon.
