Four including 3 teen-age girls arrested smuggling Rs 1.25 crore drugs

Yamunanagar : CIA-1 staff Yamunanagar police on a secret information that smuggled drugs are being sold by a youth accompanied by a group of three teen-age girls of age around 15 years arriving at Jagadhri railway station, police team started search at the platform and outside the railway station Saturday late evening, and saw four including three females sitting in a ‘dhaba’ near the railway station carrying bags. During the search police recovered 33 kg 900 gm ‘charas’ kept in four bags of value worth Rs 1.25 crore.

The youth was identified as Raj Bali a resident of village Sadarghat Tangreia in Betitiah district in Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the police and a case under NDPS Act was registered against them. During preliminary investigation youth Raj Bali admitte crime and said that he used to smuggle drugs frequently from Bihar brought from the main supplier for onward supply along with three teen-age girls in a second class ordinary coach having less chances of checking by Railway Protection Force and they were being paid an amount worth Rs 5000 each. The police started searching for the main supplier.
