BJP releases ‘Nayab Sankalp Patra’ for every district in Haryana

BJP National President JP Nadda released the party’s 20-point manifesto, ‘Nayab Sankalp Patra’ for every district in Haryana state ahead of the Assembly polls to be held on 5th October promising two lakh government jobs,  Rs 2,100 monthly assistance to women and guaranteed government job to ‘Agniveers’ hailing from the State. Apart from this, the party also promised 11 ‘Sankalp’ for every district, which is first time by any political party ruled over in any state, and creation of 10 industrial towns and full scholarship to Scheduled Caste (SC) and other Backward Class (OBC) students of government medical and engineering colleges in the state. Among those present on this occasion at Rohtak during the release of the ‘Sankalp Patra’ were Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Ministers Manohar Lal Khattar, Rao Inderjit Singh, Krishan Pal Gurjar and head of the party’s poll manifesto committee.

 The ruling government has already promised to purchase 24 crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP). Facing controversy by opposition parties over the ‘Agnipath’ scheme, which is for short-term military recruitment, Nadda said there will be a guarantee of government job for every ‘Agniveer’ hailing from Haryana, promised Rs 2,100 per month for all women under the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojna’ as well as two lakh government jobs will be given to the youths without ‘kharchi-parchi’ as alleged corruption prevailing earlier under the Congress regime. The ruling BJP also announced to give cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 under the ‘Har Ghar Grih Yojna’ which is already being given to BPL and antyodaya families in the state. The BJP also promised 5 lakh houses in urban and rural areas if it is voted to power after the assembly elections, besides a scooter for every college-going female student in a rural area under the ‘Avowal Balika Yojna’, besides scholarships for Haryana students belonging to the OBC and SC communities in any government medical and engineering college in the country will be given.

Under ‘Nayab Sankalp’, The BJP has also promised setting up of 10 industrial cities on the line of Industrial Model Township Kharkhoda and industrialists will be given special incentive for giving 50,000 jobs to local youths in every city. Under the ‘Chirayu-Ayushman’ scheme each family will be given free medical treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh and an elderly person above 70 years of age in the family will be provided free medical treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh unconditionally as already announced by the ruling state government. BJP in the state has also promised employment opportunities for 5 lakh youths and monthly stipend through the National Apprenticeship Promotion scheme. BJP announced to set up welfare boards for backward classes and a sufficient budget for their welfare, sports nurseries will be set up in every district in the state for the Olympic Games, the manifesto stated. Tourism was also the focus in the manifesto with the party promising an Aravalli Jungle Safari of international level in South Haryana.

Nadda said in 2014, the state’s per capita income was 1.37 lakh, which has increased to 3 lakh rupees at present. As regards export, Haryana export was only Rs 68,000 crore earlier, which has gone up to 2.5 lakh crore. Attacking the opposition Nadda said the image of Haryana about a decade ago was known for corruption in jobs and land scams, but during the BJP’s rule in the past 10 years the per Capita income of the State has doubled, exports had grown three times and 5,800 villages are getting round-the-clock electricity compared with only 538 such villages in 2014.

Nadda said, there is a firm plan to set up a Cloth Park in Ambala, a co-operative sugar mill in Shahzadpur, domestic airport in Ambala already completed, a packaging plant for ‘Kinnu’ fruit in Sirsa, construction of a 700-Bed government hospital and a sewage plant in Gurugram, an IMT and a Pharma Park in Karnal, a free coaching hostel for youths belonging to SC/OBC in Jind,  STF to destroy garbage & chemical waste in industrial town Faridabad, a logistic hub in Sonipat, 800 MW new power station in Yamunanagar, developing a solar energy plant in Charkhi Dadri, developing a EV Park for manufacturing spare parts for electric vehicles in Rohtak, developing IMT and footwear park in Palwal, National level sports stadium in Jhajjar, an ultra modern cattle feed plant in Kaithal, developing an industrial cluster and a fruit packaging plant in Hisar, construction of sewerage treatment plant in Panipat, developing a cultural tourism hub in Kurukshetra, developing green hydrogen hub in Mahendergarh, an international level Aravali Safari park in10,000 acre area in Nuh (Mewat) and developing Film City, IT Park & data centre and an industrial area in Panchkula.
