Advocate Dhami expresses concern over growing distance between India-Canada

Amritsar, October 17 -The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed concern over the growing distance between India and Canada and said that the two countries should adopt a sincere approach to solve the matter.

He said that a large number of Indians and especially Punjabis live in Canada, who are naturally affected by the deteriorating relations between the two countries. The SGPC president said that in the case of Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s murder in the past, both the nations should adopt a decisive approach against each other in place of levelling allegations.

Dhami said that there should be no politics on this serious issue. He appealed to the Government of India to conduct an impartial investigation in this matter, so that the situation can become clear.
