Gangster’s wife arrested allegedly involved in 2 cases of extortion

Gurugram :  Gurugram Police arrested Manisha, wife of notorious gangster Kaushal allegedly demanding extortion of amounts worth Rs. 2 crores from four hotel operators including a Hotel in Bilaspur area. She was arrested by the Manesar Crime Branch team from Devi Lal Colony on Monday afternoon. On her instructions five shooters were called and the accused of her gang who were caught during an encounter on September 20 had threatened while demanding extortion. ACP Crime Branch, Varun Dahiya said that on September 15, the manager of a hotel in Bilaspur was threatened with a ransom demand of Rs 2 crore. The caller had introduced himself as a member of Kaushal Chaudhary and Amit Dagar gang and a case was registered by the police and teams of the Crime Branch were engaged in investigating the matter. On September 20, several teams of the Crime Branch set up a blockade near Manesar Valley and caught four shooters of the Kaushal gang during an encounter. Information reveals, a reward of Rs 20 thousand was announced by the police on Manisha.

The accused arrested by the police during an encounter with police were identified as Sachin alias Gajnu resident of Shakti Park, Krishna and Sanjay both residents of Naharpur, Rupa and Anees, residents of Kherari village of Rohtak. Vijay Kali was arrested from Sector 29 and after interrogations were produced in the court which remanded them to police custody for six days. Information about Kaushal’s wife Manisha was obtained during interrogation of arrested accused, when the Manesar Crime Branch after conducting an investigation arrested Manisha. from Gurugram who disclosed that the shooters were called from Punjab and on her instructions, four arrested henchmen had demanded money from four hotel operators including Bilaspur hotel. The Manesar crime branch arrested the accused woman, the main conspirator in the firing case from Devi Lal colony on Monday who was sent on six day police remand.
