Ambala/Chandigarh : Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labor Minister Anil Vij issued instructions to suspend Ambala Cantt Police Station SHO Inspector Satish Kumar for not complying with his earlier directions from the last Janata Camp. During the camp, Minister Anil Vij reprimanded the SHO for failing to register a case in a fraud incident involving the purchase and sale of shops. He had earlier directed the registration of a case based on a complaint filed by a woman at the last Janata Camp. Taking the matter seriously, Minister Anil Vij communicated with the Haryana DGP over the phone and instructed the SHO’s suspension.The woman, who appeared before the minister, alleged that her shops were forcefully bought at lower prices. Previously, this complaint had been submitted to the minister, who instructed the SHO to file a case. As no action was taken, the minister today directed the suspension of the SHO.
Speaking to media persons, Minister stated that inaction by officials would not be tolerated, and those who fail to perform their duties will face consequences. Minister Anil Vij instructed officials present at the camp to ensure complaints received at the Janata Camp are resolved swiftly within a week.
Complaints about open meat selling were brought to the minister’s attention. Taking this seriously, he directed joint teams from the municipal council, health department, and police to take action.The Transport Association requested the establishment of a transport hub to park large vehicles in a designated area. Minister Vij instructed officials to identify a suitable location near the under-construction ring road.Residents of Machhonda requested a change in local bus timings, and those from Mulana requested evening bus services. Minister Vij directed GM Roadways to address both issues.
A resident from Khojkipur raised concerns about encroachment on a village pond. An issue regarding a non-functional transformer near the industrial area was addressed. Complaints about excess electricity bills and delayed property registrations in Babiyal and Matidas Nagar were also taken up. Complaints included non-removal of power lines above houses, delayed mutation of property by Patwaris, and issues with land registrations near BD Flour Mill. Minister Vij instructed the respective departments to resolve these issues promptly. During the camp on the 3 murders in Panchkula, Vij stated that the Chief Minister is closely monitoring the situation to prevent such incidents in the future.
On Congress President Kharge’s allegations against the BJP for undermining the Election Commission’s integrity, Vij remarked that allegations should be backed by evidence. Regarding former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s statement comparing BJP’s treatment of Purvanchalis to Bangladeshis, Vij said Kejriwal is misleading people with baseless claims. On farmer leader Dallewal’s health issue, Vij stated it is a matter for Punjab and urged dialogue with farmers.
