Chandigarh: Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij strongly condemned the major terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, calling it a very painful incident. He said that “I want to state that this is Narendra Modi’s India. Where, when, and how the response will come, I don’t know—but I do know that they will receive such a strong reply that they will never dare to do something like this again, and even those who send them will hesitate to think about it.”

Vij said, terrorists are prepared and used to carry out attacks with the most impact, but they will be answered. Responding to the question about the loss of a Navy Lieutenant from Haryana in the attack—and how the terrorists were targeting and killing after asking names—Energy Minister Anil Vij said that such terrorists are fully trained and brought specifically to carry out acts that will have the greatest psychological and emotional impact. But, he assured, they will be answered for it.

Commenting on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement that instead of hollow claims, the government should act, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij said that Rahul Gandhi is unaware of the country’s traditions. In times like these, when such incidents or external attacks occur, all political leaders should set aside their differences and stand united with the government, rather than issuing divisive statements. Anil Vij added that “We will fight, and only by coming together can we eliminate such threats.”
