Amritsar, April 28 -As many as 70 Pakistan nationals who were having Pakistani Passports with NORI (No Obligation to Return to India) Visa crossed over to India through Integrated Check Post (ICP) of Attari border here today.
Earlier, all Pakistanis having Pakistani passports were not allowed to come to India from Pakistan but today Pak nationals with NORI Visa were allowed to cross over to India FROM Attari border today onwards.
A Pakistan national named Asma who had gone to Pakistan two months ago to visit her parents got stuck there after the Pehalgam terror attack. She said today she was allowed to cross over to India as she was holding NORI and LTV (LONG TERM VISA) VISA. Earlier no Pakistani nationals married in India with Pakistani passports were allowed to come back to India but today she was happy as the Indian Government allowed NORI visa holders to cross over to India enabling her to go to husband’s house.
Tomorrow more people from Pakistan with NORI Visas are expected to cross over to India.
