480 Passengers including NORI VISA holders crossed over to India

Amritsar: As many as 480 passengers including NORI  (No Obligation to Return to India) Visa crossed over to India through Integrated Check Post  (ICP) of Attari border here on April 29.

However on April 28, 70 Pakistan nationals who were having Pakistani Passports with NORI visa had arrived India through the same land transit route.

The process of arrival of NORI VISA holders began yesterday onwards when Indian Government allowed them to cross over to India

Earlier, all Pakistanis having Pakistani passports were not allowed to come to India from Pakistan but from yesterday onwards Pak nationals with NORI Visa were allowed to cross over to India from Attari border.

It is noteworthy here that females with NORI visas entering to India with their Indian born children who are having Indian passports.  

Tomorrow more people from Pakistan with NORI Visas are expected to cross over to India.
