Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan and film producer Reena Dutta’s daughter Ira Khan on Wednesday tied the knot with her long-time partner Nupur Shikhare.
Ira, who is the founder and CEO of a mental health support organisation, registered her marriage with Nupur, a celebrity fitness trainer, at a five star hotel in suburban Bandra.
The marriage was attended by their close family members, including Aamir, his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, among others. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the same hotel.
The wedding venue was seen packed with guests.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are now married. A video of the couple registering their marriage has surfaced online and is now going viral. In the video, Nupur was seen seated on the stage in a pair of white colour shorts with a black vest while Ira was decked up in a beautiful traditional lehenga.
Nupur was seen getting married in the same clothes as that he sported at the baraat. The groom ditched the traditional baraat to jog to his wedding. He was seen wearing a pair of gym clothes for the run and participated in the baraat dance outside the wedding in the same clothes. A video from inside the wedding shows he opted to sign the marriage papers in the same outfit.
