Addressing a public gathering in Fatehabad and grain market Hisar, Hooda said that the priority of the Congress is to eliminate fast increased crime and provide a safe atmosphere to people in Haryana after forming the government. Former Haryana chief minister and leader of opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda asserted that they would uproot drugs and miscreants from the state,  when Congress is voted to power in the coming assembly polls due later this year.

Hooda said, the BJP is running a government which is known for taking U-turn and giving flop schemes to state residents. In the last 10 years, all schemes introduced by this government proved to be a big failure. “During my tenure as chief minister Haryana, we ended the rule of gangsters and miscreants and people know our rule for providing a better law and order situation. We handed over a safe Haryana to BJP and now, there is no law and order in the state,” the former CM added that youths in the state instead of becoming players have become drug addicts in the state, and are being trapped in criminal activities being sheltered by the  present ruling government in the state. He surprisingly said that more than 100 businessmen have received threats to kill for ransom demands only in Hisar district in the past. Hooda said that Congress has issued a chargesheet of 15 questions against the ruling BJP government and launched a campaign ‘Haryana Mange Hisab’.

Former chief minister said that Congress when ruling in the state had convinced youths to adopt the career of sportsmen, whereas the BJP government while coming to power convinced youths to take liquor and drugs which are now readily available in every village, residential area and door-to-door service everywhere across the state. Congress while ruling made Haryana a developed state, whereas BJP government has made the state unsafe where anti-social elements, smugglers, corrupts are fearlessly ruling at present  involved in criminal activities including murders, dacoities, robberies, cyber frauds, extortion of money and drug smuggling. He said, time has arrived to get rid of the BJP government and after coming to power Congress assures to wipe out all criminals from the state. “We will fill up 2 lakh vacant posts in Haryana government, elderly people will get Rs 6,000 per month pension and Rs 25 lakh health insurance if voted to power,” the former CM Hooda assured to provide 300 units electricity free of cost and supply of LPG cylinder at the rate Rs 500 each after coming to power in the state.
