Agitation in protest of increasing crimes on businessmen in Haryana: Bajrang Das Garg

Chief General Secretary Akhil Bhartiya Vyapar Mandal as well as  Haryana Vyapar Mandal Bajrang Das Garg has raised a question on Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khatter for not taking stern action against anti-social elements involved in criminal activities on businessmen in the state since past sometime. He announced a state level meeting on December 12 in this regard to discuss matter and also announced complete ‘Bandh’ in protest on December 3 at Jind and on December 7 at Hisar.

Garg said, a businessman Shyam Sunder Bansal was shot dead by criminals in broad daylight at Jind, where as anti-social elements demanded Rs 10 lakh ransom from another businessman Nitin Goel in the town as such decision has been taken to observe complete ‘Bandh’ on December 3 in protest of fast increasing criminal activities by anti-social elements. Garg expressed deep concern over the incident reported at Hisar in which amount worth Rs 25 lakh towards ransom was demanded from a businessman Vipin Thareja but no action taken by the police for the arrest of accused so far as such people in trade and industry at Hisar has decided to observe complete ‘Bandh’ in protest of increasing criminal activities and police failure to control crimes on December 7.

Garg said, business community in Haryana state is in the state of panic feeling unsafe due to fast increasing crimes against them and police unable to control and will discuss the issue and future action in a state level meeting on December 12. He said, crime situation in the state worsening with rise in the cases of theft, robbery, snatching, on-line & bank frauds, murder, illegal possession on properties by anti-social elements in which people in trade and business are suffering a lot and feel themselves unsafe in the state due to police inaction and in case action will not be taken will launch a protest.
