Ambala police arrested drug smuggler with 10,800 intoxicated capsules

Police post no 4 Ambala City on a information that a drug supplier arrived with huge stocks of intoxicated capsules, police officer Gurmel Singh along with his team held a police barrier at the entry point on Hari Palace Theatre road near Highway No. 1 and stopped a youth carrying a plastic bag on June 16-17 night and during search recovered 45 boxes containing 10,800 intoxicated capsules from the him identified as Bunty a resident of Deha Colony Ambaloa City.

Talking to media persons Pooja Dabla ASP Ambala told that the youth was supplying drugs in the area since a long time having past criminal backgroung and as many as three cases were also registered against him in past, which included a case registered against him under section 21 of NDPS Act on 22nd January 2016, another case registered under section 20/29 of NDPS Act  on 14th March 2020 and the third case registered under sections 323/506/ 34 IPC on 1st July 2022. The arrested youth was produced in the court and remanded to police custody for six days to find out from where he had procured such a huge quantity of intoxicated capsules and to whom he was supplying such intoxicated drugs.
