Ambala police arrested four drug smugglers in 24 hours

Police recovered opium, heroin & ntoxicated tablets,capsules

Ambala: Talking to media persons here, SP Ambala Surinder Singh Bhoria said that  the CIA-1 Staff Ambala police, on the basis of secret information, took immediate action and arrested accused Deen Dayal resident of village Bharatpur Agra District Bareilly Uttar Pradesh with 01 kg 150 grams of opium and as per the order of the Court was remanded to police custody for 5 days.

In another case the police team of CIA-1 Ambala had received information that an accused involved in drug smuggling is standing today with the narcotic substance near Palika Vihar Gate, Ambala City Police Station area, the police took immediate action and caught the suspicious person standing near Palika Vihar Gate in Ambala City.

In the third case, the police team of Anti Narcotics Cell Ambala arrested the accused from Ambala City area with 1032 narcotic capsules, 1650 narcotic pills and while travelling on a motorcycle near TB Hospital.The arrested accused was identified as  Balwant alias Prince resident of Chhota Bazar Ambala City and he was sent him to judicial custody as per the order of the Honorable Court.

In another case a youth was arrested with 20 grams 24 milligrams of Heroin near Bandri Wala Mandir near railway station under Padav police station in Ambala Cantonment. The arrested accused was identified as Ricky, a resident of Deha Colony Ambala Cantt with 20 grams 24 milligrams and used to supply drugs against orders. He was remanded to police custody for two days police remand as per the order of Court.
