Ambala police seized 1 kg opium from a truck 

Ambala: CIA-1 staff of Ambala police led by Inspector Harbhajan Singh on a secret information conducted raid at a canter standing near Chacha Bhatija Dhaba on Do-Sarka (Barara) on Ambala- Jagadhari Road and during search recovered 1 kg opium from a youth sitting on the driver seat in the canter, identified as Rajbir Singh a resident of Khawaja Peer Colony Sirhind in Fatehgarh district of Punjab. Police team impounded the truck bearing registration no. PB11DC-4076. A case under NDPS Act was registered at Mullana police station in Ambala district.

SP Ambala Jashandeep Singh Randhawa while talking to media persons said that this is the second case of recovery of drugs in the district in the past couple of days. Earlier, police had recovered 1 kg 18 gm Charas from a youth from Himachal pradesh near Shahzadpur subdivision in the district and campaign against drug smuggling will continue in Ambala district.
