Ambala to have first TB Hospital & Institute in Haryana

Ambala: Haryana Home & Health Minister Anil VIj laid foundation stone of the building of 100 bed TB hospital which will be known as TB Institute the first in Haryana having nearly 63000 TB patients in the state at present. The Institute having fully equipped TB hospital is being constructed in 1.8 acre area with the cost of Rs 54.38 crore and would provide health services to the TB patients in the state as well as adjoining states.five. The building will have four floors apart from the basement and the ground floor, where emergency services to the TB patients will be available round the clock apart from those suffering from the heart and other respiratory disorders. Among those present at the occasion were Aseem Goel MLA Ambala City Additional Chief Secretary Health department G. Anupama, Director General Health Services Sonia Trikha, Director General  R.S Poonia and CMO Ambala.

Talking to the media persons Anil Vij said that the hospital will provide OPD services and treatment to the patients suffering from the chest diseases, lung cancer, sensation, LG and immuno-therapy, ART clinic, post TB complications in fully equipped complete PFT lab, ultra modern TB line,  probe accessi lab, TB culture lab, genomic secunessing lab, fungal culture lab  Varology lab, sleep study lab, X-ray with PACS system, CT scan, ultrasound centre and a fully equipped operation theatre and lully equipped alboratories inside the hospital under the guidance of highly qualified doctors
