Army jawan spying for Pakistan ISI arrested at Ambala

In second case of spying for ISI in couple of months at Ambala, police arrested  a youth Rohit resident of village Kodwa Khurd in Ambala district joined army in 2012 and presently working as Havaldar in 68 Engineering Regiment at Bhopal in M.P who presently on leave for construction of house in his village who was on army vigilance radar allegedly passing secret army information and locations to Pakistan ‘s Inter Services  Intelligence (ISI) on Watts up to a female working for ISI since past sometime. Army vigilance along with Haryana police in a raid arrested Rohit on Wednesday-Thursday night and registered a case under army secret act. Rohit was produced in the court and remanded to police custody for a week.

Hameed Akhtar SSP Ambala told media persons that police seized five mobile phones from alleged accuse used for forwarding secret army information and locations of photographs to a female working for ISI to whom he was introduced on Face Book in 2018, which were found deleted by him after forwarding all messages. SSP told that all mobile phones are being sent to laboratory at Panchkula for recovery of deleted data. Rohit was also getting money in view of forwarding his illegal services to ISI in his Andhra Bank account. Team of CIA staff Naraingarh during investigation collecting detail of payments received by him in the bank, he said.

Information reveals, this is second case of leaking army secrets to Pakistan ISI at Ambala. Earlier on July 15, 2021 Surinder Kumar resident of Boh in Ambala Cantt working as Head Constable after retirement from army at Palwal was arrested by police under official secret act allegedly spying for ISI on internet through a female Face Book friend and getting payment several time towards passing army secrets to ISI from Soudi Arab in his account in State Bank of India  Ambala Cantt.
