New Delhi : As soon as the results of the polls were announced, the infighting was seen within the BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of ‘Ab ki baar chaarsho paar’ has fallen flat, and BJP’s number of seats has come down to around 240 from last time’s 300. According to sources, BJP’s ideological guardian Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) has also expressed displeasure over BJP’s results.
The Sangh Parivar (RSS) feels that the party is suffering as a result of Modi-Shah taking over the party’s lead by sending behind the leaders like Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, who are favorites of the Sangh Parivar, to the back row. Many BJP leaders feel that if leaders like Gadkari and Rajnath were more involved in the work of the party, the number of seats of the party in important states like Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh respectively would not have fallen like this. Not only the cornering of the old leaders of the party, but during Narendra Modi’s tenure individuals have been prioritized more than the party. A BJP leader is also unhappy about that. This time, the BJP’s election manifesto, ‘Modi Ki guarantee, which has been published, has raised the question, ‘Everything is Modimoy.’ Where is the BJP there? That question was also raised within the party earlier.
The Sangh Parivar is also unhappy that Modi-Shah did not care about the NDA alliance partners as the BJP had more seats last time. Old allies like Shiv Sena, Akali Dal have left them. Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu also walked on the same road, but later they were brought back to the NDA after being explained. But everyone knows that the relationship is not what it used to be. If these two leaders leave the NDA again, whether the government will survive or not, the cloud of fear is also floating in the BJP camp. In between Election, there was so many things happened that RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat once said that people and specifically Hindus can vote whom they want. Now, lets see what is going to happen in near days.
