Panjim: The recently-concluded four-day Ayurvedic Congress witnessed COVID-19 successful treatment being the most highlighted alongside other diseases at the Expo by many companies.

Dr Manjiri Walinjkar, Ph.D, Jamnagar, in a poster case report, noted that the World Health Organisation (WHO) reported 20% to 30% of Covid patients suffered from persistent lung damage due to SARS-COVID invading and forming residue that damaged ‘alveoli’ and capillaries in the lungs.

A 57-year-old COVID patient with high BP and smoking and tobacco-chewing habit – who gave up allopathic treatment and turned to homoeopathy in September 2021 – experienced improved health till date, she added.

Homoeopathy too was highlighted at the Expo, where Dr Avijit Shee Burman of NIH (National Institute of Homoeopathy), Kolkata noted that 3 out of 5 medications – Arsenic Alb 30 (in winter), Bryonia Alba 30 and Gelsemium 30 (summer) tested in Uttar Pradesh during COVID-19 in 2020 had “Fantastic” results.

Burman said that homoeopathic preventive medicines given during COVID-19 in India and abroad witnessed not a single death of those taking the prescribed dose (once morning for three days) from 2020 to 2022.

Dr Annapurna of NAMMA Homoeopathy highlighted a new invention in homoeopathy, that successfully treated over one lakh cases — involving diabetes, varicose veins, asthma, psoriasis, arthritis, thyroid, PCOD, piles, sexual problems — through “Ïmmunogenic Miasmatic 6th Generation Homoeopathic Treatment.”

However, “Ashwaas” (meaning “Ïmparting Confidence”) began in Goa in 2019 through providing specifically-designed diploma training courses for trainers in providing Indian music therapy to people suffering from Autism, “Downs” Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Cancer, mental, psychological and speech disorders.

“Ïn blood-brain disorder, there is a blood-brain barrier unreachable by medicine — except for “sound” which is a drugless therapy with positive side-effects only while improving quality of life and communication for the sufferers,” he added.
