BBMB Surpassed Generation Target of 2019-20 in four months advance

Chandigarh: Bhakra Beas Management Board has surpassed generation targets of 9470 million units fixed by the Central Electricity Authority for the financial year 2019-20 by generating 9473.20 million units of energy today at 6.00 am. This has been possible due to judicious operation of reservoirs as well as efficient operation and maintenance of the generating units with one of the highest plant availability.
Cumulative machine availability of generating units of BBMB during April, 2019 to November, 2019 was 98.62% and the Transmission availability for the said period was 99.84%.
