Bengaluru: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a remarkable turnover of ₹5,643.25 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024-25, marking an impressive growth of 36.97% compared to ₹4,120.10 crore in the same period last year, Company press release said.
Profitability surged as Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose by 49.64% to ₹1,754.15 crore, up from ₹1,172.26 crore in Q3 of the previous year. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) increased by 47.33% to ₹1,316.06 crore, compared to ₹893.30 crore in the corresponding period last year.
For the first three quarters of FY 2024-25, BEL reported a cumulative turnover of ₹14,173.68 crore, a significant rise from ₹11,484.92 crore in the previous year. Profits saw a strong uptick, with PBT climbing to ₹4,242.37 crore from ₹2,948.95 crore and PAT reaching ₹3,183.47 crore, compared to ₹2,236.48 crore in the same period last year.
With a robust order book of ₹71,100 crore as of January 1, 2025, BEL continues to strengthen its position as a leader in the defence electronics sector. This impressive performance underscores the company’s commitment to innovation, self-reliance, and national security, setting the stage for sustained growth in the years ahead.
