BJP government announcements in 10 years rule in Haryana merely eyewash

PPP should be named as ‘Permanent Pareshan Patra’ instead of ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra’

AMBALA: Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while addressing media persons at Press Club Chandigarh and PWD Rest House Ambala Cantt said the BJP government in Haryana has completely failed on every front and it has been making fake announcements during last about 10 years rule in the state merely as an eyewash. He said, recent Lok Sabha poll results in Haryana have clearly indicated that people in the state are fed up with ruling BJP government policies in past years and need immediate change in government. Hooda said that property ID scheme has made all municipal corporations and municipal committees in the state merely a network of corruption causing inconvenience and demanded that PPP scheme introduced by ruling BJP government should be called as ‘Permanent Pareshan Patra’ instead of ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra’ causing not only inconvenience to the people but also enhance corruption.

Speaking to mediapersons, Hooda said, “The BJP government has no achievements to show and it is just making fake announcements in past 10 years rule in Haryana to woo the voters. The BJP has conceded defeat even before the coming assembly elections since all announcements made by the government proved merely an eyewash. The people of Haryana have decided to form the next government of Congress to bring prosperity in the state. Hooda said, soon after forming the next Congress government in the state an Industrial Model Township (IMT) will be developed in Ambala in order to boost industry as well as sources of employment for youths. Former CM said, in the recent past Lok Sabha elections, the vote share of the Congress has improved all over in Haryana which indicates that the people of the state have made up their mind to elect the Congress in the coming Assembly elections. He said, the BJP has failed to provide jobs and the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam has been a source of corruption only where more than two lakh posts are lying vacant in government departments, but instead of making permanent recruitment the ruling BJP government is filling the posts through Kaushal Nigam thus cheating educated youths.

Hooda said,the BJP has gone back on all its announcements made during 2014 and 2019 elections, failed to implement MSP guarantee to the farmers, why not provided them rates of the crops according to ‘Swaminathan Report’, why farmers income was not double as assured to the farmers by BJP government, why government employees were not given salaries at par with the employees in neighbouring Punjab state, why medical colleges have not been opened in every district across Haryana as assured, how Haryana state became No. 1 in unemployment to youths in the country, Why Haryana has become No. 1 in most unsafe state in crimes in the country, why more than 5000 schools have been closed down in the state, why 50000 pots for teachers are lying vacant in education department and 20000 posts vacant in state health department. The Congress government while ruling in the state had distributed free plots of 100 yards each to 4 lakh poor families, but the BJP has stopped this welfare scheme of the Congress, and is now making a fake announcement of distributing 30-yard plots. Hooda said why 75% reservation in employment to youths hailing from Haryana state has not been provided.

Hooda said, in-spite of the fact Supreme Court of India  has given decision as regard SYL canal water in favour of Haryana, BJP government has made no efforts to get water and took any action for years since Punjab has violated court’s direction which is contempt of court by the Punjab government, assuring to take immediate action in this regard and get its share of water after coming to power. violating Supreme court orders.  Hooda strongly condemned recent cases of terrorism and firing on the premises of traders demanding ransom and the ruling BJP government taking no stern action.

When asked about the CM face and candidates in the Assembly elections in the state, Hooda said, the candidates will be selected on the basis of winnability. The MLAs and the party high command will decide the CM of Congress after coming to power. Ambala MP Varun Chaudhry, former minister Nirmal Singh, Chitra Sarwara, Himmat Singh, senior Congress leader Ashok Mehta, a former Information Commissioner, Jasbir Mallour and several other leaders were also present.
