Chandigarh-The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister and MP from Sirsa Kumari Selja said that whenever someone raises their voice against the central government or wants to bring the truth before the country, their voice is suppressed. Whenever Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi try to bring out the truth, the BJP government uses the ED (Enforcement Directorate) as a weapon to suppress them. But BJP forgets that the Congress has never bowed before anyone, nor will it ever. Congress played a crucial role in achieving the country’s independence. Rahul Gandhi visiting the poor, standing with the unemployed, and raising public interest issues is something BJP does not like. Every Congress worker will continue their fight against this dictatorial government.

In a statement released to the media Kumari Selja said the entire country and the world know that whoever raises their voice against the central government or shows them the mirror of truth is attacked using ED as a weapon. Everyone knows what AJL is, yet the central government is trying to target Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in its name. But Congress and its leaders have never bowed down and never will. Sonia Gandhi has made many sacrifices for the country, yet the central government, Modi, and Shah want to silence voices of dissent using ED. The whole world knows the truth. Whoever supports the truth is targeted with ED. The entire country knows that BJP came to power through lies and now is oppressing the people.

Kumari Selja said the people of the country have rejected the BJP. The party that gave the slogan of “400 plus” got restricted to just 240 seats and is in power today with the help of allies. The public has shown that it no longer supports them. Kumari Selja said that Rahul Gandhi undertook the Bharat Jodo Yatra on foot, from east to west and north to south, and the public joined him in large numbers, which frightened the BJP. That is why the BJP government is now trying to suppress Rahul Gandhi’s voice by using the ED. Kumari Selja said that whenever Rahul Gandhi speaks in Parliament, the ruling party panics as they have no answers to his questions. Many times, they don’t even show up in Parliament when he is speaking.

Kumari Selja said that the youth of the country are wandering in search of jobs, and unemployment is misguiding them. In Haryana, instead of regularizing HKRN employees, they are being removed from their jobs. Some have become overage and can’t get jobs anywhere. Teachers have been dismissed — this BJP government is indifferent to people’s pain. Paper leaks are destroying the future of the state’s youth. She said Congress leaders and workers are ready to make every sacrifice for their beloved leaders.
