Kiran Choudhry missing in Naraingarh rally
On the last day of the yatra started by ‘SRK” group of Congress comprising of Kumari Shelja, Randeep Surjewala and Kiran Choudhary started from Raipur Rani of Panchkula, reached Naraingarh in Ambala district on Monday evening and concluded at Bilaspur of Yamunanagar district in late evening under the Ambala Lok Sabha seat which is Selja’s stronghold where she was elected twice in Ambala Lok sabha seat as well as also holding the chair of Union Minister in centre. There was a huge gathering welcoming the Yatra at Naraingarh rally held in grain market, organised by Congress MLA Shelly Choudhary and Ramkishen Gurjar former MLA of Naraingarh constituency. The yatra started from Hisar on January 17. and there is no schedule for the second phase of the yatra so far.
AICC general secretary Selja and Surjewala addressed the gathering at all the venues making attacks on ruling Central and state governments on various issues, highlighting bad law and order issues and problems being faced by the youths, farmers, labourers and traders across the state. However, Tosham MLA Kiran Choudhary did not attend the yatra.regularly and was absent from the events in Kaithal and Kurukshetra also on Sunday. Sources said that Congress’s state in-charge Deepak Babaria, who was to attend the yatra during the last days was also found missing leaving a rumour that perhaps Kiran Choudhary may also leave the party. The missing of large number of senior Congress leaders said to be of former CM Hooda ‘s group may also pose a damage to the Congress candidates in coming Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha polls to be held shortly.
While addressing a large gathering, Kumari Shelja said that the foundation of the BJP government is based upon lies and false assurances made to the people prior to polls in 2014 and 2019, .especially to make available employment to two lakh youths every year and also double income to the farmers, but failed to fulfil the same, as well as all promised made to the voters in their poll manifest o proved false. Shelja expressed deep concern over farmers in the area suppl lied sugarcane to the Naraingarh sugar mill but are not getting timely payments are burdened under heavy debts in-spite of ‘dharnas’ outside the mill and getting no support from the ruling government in the state.
