BJP has started preparations for Mission 2019 to win elections in all 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana state in coming polls and searching winner contestants. The poll convener of Haryana BJP Lok Sabha poll committee Kalraj Misra former Union Industry Minister has already collected feed back for suitable candidates in past one week to contest in coming polls on behalf of BJP in the state.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter has also been directed by BJP high command to suggest names of heavy weight winner contestants on all 10 seats. Information reveals, BJP poll committee along with BJP core group had a meeting at New Delhi on February 3 to seek advice of senior BJP party leaders in this regard to make sure that only winner candidates should be left in the battle field in coming Lok Sabha polls. Hopefully, BJP would disclose the names of their contestants soon after Lok Sabha session to be held with effect from February 20 to 27, 2019 for which party leaders have started home work.
Out of 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state BJP holding seven seats at present, whereas in remaining three seats Deepender Hooda of Congress holding Rohtak seat, Dushyant Chautala of JJP holding Hisar seat and INLD candidate ruling over Sirsa Lok Sabha seat. There is possibility for BJP to select winning candidates for seven Lok Sabha seats including three seats where political parties in opposition are ruling over at present to contest coming polls in the state including three new powerful faces on seats occupied by the candidates of rival political parties.
Sources said that as many as four sitting MPs in Haryana state at Kurukshetra, Karnal, Sonepat and Bhiwani-Mohindergarh Lok Sabha constituencies are either not in a position to contest polls in their present constituencies or willing to contest coming Lok Sabha polls since Karnal MP Ashwani Chopra is medically unwell, Kuukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini have launched his own Lok Tantar Surakhsha Party, Sonepat MP Ramesh Kaushik and Bhiwani MP Dharambir have expressed desire to contest Vidhan Sabha polls this time but sources reveal both have changed their decision after BJP candidate’s recent victory in Jind by-elections but party may look for alternate candidates to contest in coming Lok Sabha polls.
On the other hand BJP high command feels that Rattan Lal kataria MP at Ambala, Krishanpal Gurjar MP at Faridabad and Rao Inderjit Singh at Gurugram as their safe candidates to contest coming Lok Sabha polls from their constituencies.
Sources said that Prime Minister Narender Modi and BJP president Amit Shah are visiting Haryana state to inject energy in the arms of BJP workers holding rallies at Kurukshetra and Hisar. Prime Minister Modi would visit Kurukshetra on February 12, 2019, whereas Amit Shah visiting Hisar on February 27, 2019 to address voters.
Needless to say, BJP candidates would have to face tough fight at Rohtak, Hisar and Sirsa Lok Sabha constituencies where Congress, JJP and INLD possess powerful Vote Bank.
