BJP will be ‘without Gandhi’ in twenty-four! Speculation abounds

New Delhi: Congress’s Gandhi family was attacked day and night by BJP leaders. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself leaves no chance to corner the Gandhi family. But for the last few years, there are two Gandhis inside the BJP family. But very soon, Saffron Shibir may say goodbye to late Sanjay Gandhi’s wife and son.

Maneka Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi are probably no longer getting BJP tickets. Maneka and Varun are currently MPs from Sultanpur and Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh. But according to the party sources, the two Gandhis will not be given tickets by the BJP. The local BJP leadership there are no longer wants to accept Varun-Maneka as party candidates. Perhaps that is why Maneka and Varun will not be given tickets again.

After the death of Sanjay Gandhi, Maneka joined the BJP due to differences with her elder sister-in-law Sonia Gandhi. Maneka herself and his son Varun enrolled themselves in the Saffron camp. At one time, when Atal Vihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani were the party leader, they got a lot of prestige in the party. Maneka became Union Minister and Varun was party’s General Secretary and both of them won Loksabha election on BJP ticket. And last few days, Saffron camp has downplayed their importance.

In fact, BJP’s distance with Varun Gandhi and Maneka Gandhi has been increasing for quite some time. Varun is almost regularly raising the voice against his own party. It was heard that Varun had once expressed his desire to leave the party and join the Congress. However, it was not possible due to Rahul Gandhi’s objection. It is believed that the Gandhis were not given tickets could also be a reason.
