BJP’s Internal Reports Says, party doubtful about Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi : The political situation in assembly elections in various districts of these two states, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are not favorable for BJP. Internal surveys suggest, the picture of apprehension has been made clear by the party’s inner circle, the BJP’s majority is far away in ensuing assembly elections in both the states. The repeat result of Karnataka is all predicted in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and it matches the BJP’s internal party report apart from Chhattisgarh and Telangana, as these two states are also due for voting this year. Even if the BJP is likely to win a handful of seats in Telangana, it is not possible for them to come closer to forming the government. That is not unknown to Saffron Shibir. But the remaining three Hindi-speaking states have appeared to the party as a vermilion cloud.

A “confidential Reports” from Rajasthan suggests that despite the infighting, the Congress is getting a positive response to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s thousands of public appeal promises. Announcements like free electricity to half subsidy on cooking gas have put the Congress virtually on the brink of victory. The BJP leadership in various districts has warned that during the election campaign, the promises or gifts of the Congress should not be countered in any way. In that case the results will be reversed. Because, through these facilities, Congress is getting enough response among people. The proposals and suggestions of the party’s grassroots leaders and workers sent to the central leaders, the BJP’s state and top leadership should also prepare a list of surprising announcements for the people of Rajasthan. In which district the voters can be won over on which issues, the public should be given a direct gift. If they don’t do that and campaign against the promises of Congress, people will not vote for BJP. The same mistake that was made in Karnataka, should not be made in these two states, especially Rajasthan. The extract of this report is making Narendra Modi and his team the most uncomfortable.
Modi is calling the provision of free-living services by the government as ‘Revri culture’. But Congress’ five announcements in Karnataka or the promise to bring back old pensions in Himachal Pradesh—all won the hearts of the people and brought the Congress to power. Party insiders indicate that this very formula is starting to work in Rajasthan. Besides all these, in Madhya Pradesh, the RSS itself has learned from an internal survey that the BJP will not get more than 55 of the 230 seats in the state. Congress started this campaign in earnest. The other camp is not even able to fight back. Because it is clear from the reports of leaders and workers, BJP does not have the face to win the party in these states. At the same time, anti-government sentiment is very strong. Not only is it difficult to get the majority, but the saffron camp is worried about where and how many seats the party can win within the party’s internal conflict.
