Pointing at Congress blaming ruling BJP government in the country involved in tappings telephones of leaders of political parties in opposition, ministers, VIPs and even journalists in the country, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter while addressing a press conference at Haryana Bhawan strongly condemned Congress involved in blaming others due to their character. He said, past scenario reveals that Congress not only hesitated in spying their own leaders including Chief Minister Chander Sheikhar had lost his chair but also Pranav Mukherjee Finance Minister in UPA government and Samajwadi Party leader late Amar Singh by tapping their telephones which attracted headlines in newspapers in past years and according to information the telephones of nearly 9000 persons were tapped when UPA government was ruling in the country.
Khatter alleged Congress always been involved in conspiracies accompanied by powers against the country instead of welfare of our country. He said, ruling government was keen to discuss and approve several beneficial schemes for the welfare of farmers, youths, women and people belonging to backward classes in present Monsoon session in Lok Sabha but Congress members supported by a handful of members from opposition parties interrupted the functioning of Lok Sabha session on the issue of tapping telephones which was not related to BJP government, whereas Congress itself has been involved in tapping the telephones of their supporting political leaders including Mamta Banerjee, Communist leaderSita Ram and Chanderbabu Naidu.
Khatter said, the leaders of political parties in opposition has failed to find any discrepancy in past about eight years Modi government rule in the country as such Congress leaders attempting to raise baseless allegations against the ruling government blaming that ruling government is involved in tapping 50000 telephones. Expressing deep concern Khatter accused Congress for damaging the reputation of country by publishing fake stories through ‘The Wire’ and a Europe based informative organization ‘Amnesty’ having doubtful character.
On the issue of Congress blaming nearly 30% unemployment among youths in Haryana state, Khatter said that during a recent survey by Centre for Monitoring India Economy only 6% youths in the state admitted that they are unemployed, whereas between 3 to 5% unemployment generally exist according to economic conditions. Meanwhile, HPCC president Shelja during a recent meeting with media persons expressed concern over the issue of tapping telephones of leading personalities with the help of Israel software and recent action against media houses.
