Chandigarh : After the threat of bombing two more night clubs in Chandigarh in the name of terrorist Goldy Brar, there is panic among the club operators. Earlier, on December 12 this year a threat of bomb blast on clubs in Chandigarh was given in the name of gangster Rohit Godara an associate of Goldy Brar. Prior to this on November 26 two bomb blasts occurred in two nightclubs in Sector 26 in which police arrested two persons involved in the incident identified as Viney and Ajit. In the present case of threat it was warned that do not treat it as a threat, we will be going to blast your club and the previous blasts made at Chandigarh on November 26 and Gurugram were merely sample blasts. According to information, all club owners are in a state of panic and the police have declared an alert.
Sources reveal, on one hand, this threat has worried the club operators and on the other hand, the police have lost sleep and started investigating. The caller has demanded extortion of crores from the club operators. Along with this, the caller has warned that if the extortion is not paid, be ready to face the consequences and bomb blasts in the clubs. It has been only 20 days since the bomb attack on D’Ora and Seville night clubs in Sector-26 of the city, and now there is an atmosphere of panic in nearly 50 clubs situated in the town in Sectors 26, 7,8 and 9 due to the threat of bombing two more clubs. Before this, on October 11, there was a hand grenade attack on Kothi No. 575 in Sector-10 in which police were able to arrest two persons. Chandigarh Police.
