Buoyed over state government’s ‘Anti Drug Initiative’, students make firm resolve to wipe out curse of drug from Punjab

Hails CM  for taking out of the box initiative to wipe out drugs from the state

Amritsar : Lauding the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for launching the out of box Initiative: Pray, Pledge, Play’ for eradicating the drug menace from the state, the participant youth on Wednesday made a firm resolve to make Punjab a drug free state.

More than 35,000 school students who came to support the Punjab government’s anti-drug efforts lauded the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister to launch a campaign against drugs and introduced numerous new initiatives to revive the state as ‘Rangla Punjab’. Sharing her views Shardha Mishra, a student from Government Senior High Smart School in Putlighar, Amritsar, said that it is a matter of great pride for her to have the opportunity to participate in this anti-drug event under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister. She said that participation in this campaign has cemented her commitment to contribute for the creation of a drug-free Punjab.

Another student, Harpreet Singh, from Sant Singh Sukha Singh Modern High School, Amritsar said that it is great to be a part of the drug-free Punjab campaign being run by the state government.  He said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the students about this campaign as it is aimed at making drugs free.

Navdeep Kaur, another student described it as a historic moment for Amritsar and the whole of Punjab. She said that together, all students, teachers and the government took an oath to make Punjab drug-free.

Simarpreet Kaur appreciated the Punjab government for organizing a cricket match at Gandhi Ground today. She said that students have joined hands and taken oath with the Chief Minister to make Punjab again as Rangla Punjab.

Similarly, Ajaypal Singh said that it is a very special day for Punjab and he has come to this stadium for the first time. He said that a very good event has been organized here by the Punjab Government adding that he will also contribute to the drug de-addiction Punjab campaign.

Likewise, Manjot Singh said that Punjab is progressing under the visionary and dynamic leadership of Chief Minister. He said that highly motivated by the Chief Minister, the youth of the state are committed to work together with the government to make it drug free. Gurnoor Singh said that this campaign to eliminate drugs is a noble initiative of the state government. He said that all youth of the state are with the Chief Minister in this path breaking initiative aimed at restoring the pristine glory of the state.

In the same manner, Muskan Bhatia said that it is the responsibility of all of us along with the government to make Punjab drug-free. She said that the youth of Punjab are with the Chief Minister to bring back lost glory of the state and make it drug-free.

Another student, Riddhi Kataria from Delhi Public School, Amritsar said that she and her friends will do their best to fulfill the dream of Chief Minister. She said that they will leave no stone unturned for making Punjab a completely drug-free state.

Ashishdeep Kaur also lauded this initiative of the state government and expressed her gratitude towards the Punjab government and Chief Minister for launching a crusade against drug menace. She said that this event will motivate the youth to take part in sports and remain away from the menace of drugs.
