Cancer hospital in Haryana awaits green signal for inauguration from Atomic Energy Board

A team from Chandigarh comprising of Deputy Director Health Department Dr Rekha Singh, Chief Medical Physicist & RSO Dr Arun arrived along with senior experts from PGI Chandigarh to visit newly constructed multi-storey cancer hospital on inside Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt on which amount worth hundreds crores has been spent equipped with ultra modern latest equipments imported from other countries has been inspected. The team had a detailed meeting with the senior doctors of Civil Hospital Ambala including Dr Kuldeep Singh CMO Ambala, Dr Rakesh Sehal, Dr Viney Goel and Dr Pooja. This hospital will provide medical treatment to patients suffering from dreaded cancer disease in the state.

Dr Kuldeep Singh CMO told that the hospital is ready for inauguration awaiting green signal from Atomic Energy Board. He said, the newly constructed hospital is equipped with latest machinery will have the services of two Senior Medical Officers, six Super Specialists, three Radiation Safety Officers, three Radiation Therapy Technicians, nine Technicians, 12 doctors, 17 Staff Nurses, three Pharmacists, four Lab Technicians, two Radiographers, five Assistants, three Clerks, two Nursing Sisters, 20 Outsourcing Cleaning Staff and 20 Outsourcing Class IV staff members.
