Civil Hospital Yamuna Nagar organized Blood Donation Camp on International AIDS Day

Yamuna Nagar : The Newly constructed District Hospital at Yamuna Nagar organized a Blood Donation Camp on 1st December to mark the International AIDS Day. The occasion was inaugurated by MLA Yamunanagar  Ghanshyam Dass Arora &  Rajesh Sapra District President (BJP) graced the occasion as Guest of Honor.  Inner Wheel Club  Yamunanagar was instrumental in organizing the camp. And  Parul Khanna was proactive in creating awareness among the Youth about essentiality of Voluntary Blood Donation especially for management of thalassemia patients. Bela Vinayak help and attitude is a boon for thalassemia  patients. The 100 crore Hospital building was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana 6 months back. The hospital has made many accomplishments since then due to the dedication and persistent efforts of Dr Divya Mangla and the hard working motivated staff of MLDCH, Yamuna Nagar including Doctors and Paramedical Staff.

Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan was launched and is now observed on 9th, 10th  & 23rd of every month. The silent features of this project are Free Anti-natal checkup camps, investigations, medication that is Iron & Calcium tablets, immunization against tetanus (TT Vaccination)  and high protein & High Iron diet distribution to the pregnant women.

The emergency ward, blood bank and the Operation Theaters were shifted in the new building as the old building of Trauma Centre needed repair and renovation. The shifting of blood bank was a difficult task but was very aptly managed by Dr. Divya Mangla as it needed clearance from the state and Center drug controller. The functioning of Liquefied Medical Oxygen Plant could be possible only after No Objection Certificate was issued by PESO. This can be included as one of the Dr Manglas accomplishment. Both the projects were inaugurated by MLA Yamuna Nagar on 19th October 2023. Dr Divya Mangla has roped many institutions for CSR which prove as a boon for the patients. The Mukand Lal Group of Institutions and Saraswati Sugar  Mill, Yamuna Nagar have done incredible CSR and have not only donated fully automated blood analysers and CB-NAAT test machines but have also contributed in many other significant ways.

Dr Divya Mangla’s efforts have changed the way of laundry in the hospital as a fully automatic machine of 500 KG capacity has been installed which is essential for effective infection control.   These contributions shall go a long way in achieving Hon’ble Prime Ministers dream of a Tuberculosis free Bharat by 2025. The Prime Minister’s birthday that is 17th of September was celebrated in the hospital and MLA Yamunanagar had distributed fruits and coconut water to Indoor patients and wished speedy recovery to the patients.  The efforts of Dr Mangla made it possible for the Horticulture Department to beautify the hospital premises by making Vertical Gardens on the walls and these plants and other Indoor plants act as natural Air purifiers and as Lungs of the premises. The patients satisfaction under soured due to the motivated and hardworking staff of MLDCH Yamuna Nagar.

The future plans of Dr Divya Mangla are to start a Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the Hospital premises so that patients can get the facility of effective and economical medical care. In addition to the District Residence Programme, Dr Divya Mangla under state guidance intends DNB course launch in the near future.
