By Arunkumar Rao, Bengaluru: As Congress chief Sonia Gandhi joined and walked beside son Rahul Gandhi two days back congress get huge response in its Karnataka leg of “bharat Jodo Yatra” .Congress is planning a huge campaign to “ win over” next year’s assembly election Though Rahul Gandhi told in pressconference that this yatra nothing to do with coming assembly election. The Wayanad MP (Rahul Gandhi) shared the video with a caption, “No one can stop us from uniting India. No one can stop us from raising the voice of India. No one can stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra from going from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.”
Earlier on Wednesday Sonia offered vijayadashami prayers at Bheemanakolli temple in begur village in HD Kote. Party chief Sonia Gandhi, who was abroad for medical check-ups, reached Karnataka to take part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Monday. Sonia Gandhi flew to Madikeri in Coorg and stayed at a private resort.
Congress planned huge rally in bellari to mark the culmination of the Karnataka leg of its yatra. The Yatra will pass through Karnataka for 21 days covering 511 km in Karnataka. The yatra will include Chamarajanagar, Mysuru, Mandya, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Ballari and Raichur districts. As per scheduled plan of The Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra will cover 3,570 km in 150 days. It started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and will conclude in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the yatra Rahul gandhi interacted with representative of many educatiion institutions and teachers, he also reponded by categorically stating that there was no intention to making hindi along the national language. He also said during interaction that the new NEP 2020 had been specifically created to reverse everything done over the previous 75 years. He went on to say that the only goals driving these enormous changes implemented by the State and Central Governments were commercialization. He said, there were numerous purposeful and planned attempts to undermine the Constitution and the educational system by these extreme tactics.
