Congress high command may repeat action similar to Punjab also in Haryana

Few Congress leaders are raising hue and cry over recent meeting between former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and former senior Congress leaders Gulam Nabi Azad former Chief Minister Jammu-Kashmir resigned from Congress few days ago and going to launch his own independent political party. Controversy as regard meeting between both political leaders is seen after former Union Minister and HPCC president Shelja’s letter to Congress high command raising a question mark over this meeting between both political leaders after Azad has already submitted resignation to the party suspecting doubts over this meeting, whereas Bhupinder Singh Hooda has already clarified that he is and will remain sincere to party as well as Gandhi family till last. Situation turning bad after several Congress leaders also intervened into the matter raised question over this meeting between Hooda and Azad without seeking permission from Congress high command when Azad after submitting resignation from party made statements against Rahul Gandhi and his family.

In Haryana politics, a rift between former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and former party president Kumari Shelja was going on since a long although both have been posing as if they are united when Congress was not in power in Haryana state. It was due to Hooda when Congress in Haryana state was able to win 30 seats in Haryana Vidhan Sabha out of total strength of 90 and Hooda was declared leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha.  Information reveals, in-spite of the fact Shelja being quite near and dear to Smt. Sonia Gandhi had to leave the position of state president in Haryana state since majority of MLAs in the state were Hooda’s followers demanding change of party president in the state.

Political scenario in Haryana state also reveals, Congress high command had to take decision to change state president in Haryana in order to avoid situation similar to Punjab due to rift between former Chief Minister Capt Amrinder Singh and party president Navjot Singh Sidhu as a result Capt Amrinder was compelled to resign from the party and Congress not only lost power in Punjab state bus also completely wiped out from the state. However, Hooda has assured Congress high command about his sincerity to party and Gandhi family is well aware that majority of Congress MLAs are his followers and party in Haryana state too will have to face situation similar to one seen in Punjab state. Information also reveals, that Gulam Nabi Azad is going to launch his own independent political party in Jammu-Kashmir shortly and large number of Congress MLAs as well as senior Congress leaders in the state has already resigned from the party.

Present political scenario in Haryana reveals that few Congress leaders in the party in the state are unhappy over Hooda given free hand by Congress high command in the state and have also joined Shelja raising a question over Hooda and Azad meeting held recently after Azad submitted resignation, which include the names of Capt Ajay Yadav, Kiran Choudhary,  Vivek Bansal party convener in the state, Suresh Gupta Matloda, Pankaj Poonia, Randeep Surjewala and Kuldeep Bishnoi resigned from Congress some time ago and likely to join BJP. In case Congress high command apply attitude against Bhupinder Singh Hooda similar to taken in case of Capt Amrinder Singh former Chief Minister Punjab Congress may have to face consequences similar to those in Punjab.
