At the time when Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi holding ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ all over in the country the party has started breaking and it was shocking when party’s National Convener a former MLA from Shahabad Vidhan Sabha constituency in Kurukshetra district Anil Dhantodi said goodbye to Congress along with several supporters and joined BJP along with several senior Congress leaders including former Congress Committee Secretary Bhupinder Rana, former Block President at Shahabad Randhir Sulakhani,  President Shahabad Brahman Sabha Ashok Vats and President Sanatan Dharam Sabha Ashok Khurana along about two dozen other senior Congress workers in the constituency in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter and Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar on Tuesday.

After joining hands with BJP, Dhantodi said there is no sense to remain in a party in the absence of self respect accusing former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda believes only in ‘Parivar-vad’ and ‘Khashetar-vad’ responsible for his as well as other senior members of Congress to leave the party due to his neglected attitude was feeling suffocation in the party and resigned.  Khatter said, when BJP came to power in the country in 2014 people were aware of meanings of independence, the role and attitude of a political party and status of public in building a nation when BJP made people understand how problems can be solved in an independent country. While addressing Kanwar Pal Gurjar said, the present ruling government in Haryana state led by Manohar Lal Khatter is a transparent government in functioning with due respect and know how to respect party leaders as well as public irrespective of caste, creed, religion and place from where he belongs to. Conveying welcome to Dhantodi and other leaders, Khatter said leaders of different political parties in the state are joining hands with BJP will get full respect in the party.

Now question arises what impact of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra going on since past a month although has received lot of appreciations from party leaders and workers but on the ground level nothing is visible as such among public when media men raised a question to those having interest in pocs they told that as such except a bit political movement in local party leaders and workers of area from where its passing leaves no affect on people in other parts in the country. There was a time when Congress was a major ruling political party in northern part of country which now has become extremely weak.

Question also arises why Bharat Jodo Yatra has been scheduled to pass through U.P one of the biggest state in the country having maximum number of Lok Sabha members for a period of only four to five days perhaps Congress have  no hope from U.P state. Moreover this Yatra is not covering Himachal and Gujarat states going to have elections in near future. Rahul Gandhi has not raised any important issue in this Yatra as regard party’s achievements to attract voters’ attention except repeating old issues and only cursing ruling Modi government in the country as usual. People fail to understand the aim of Bharat Jodo Yatra made no comments as regard elections for Congress President for which Rahul had refused to participate. According to public opinion the elections are merely an eye wash since the party will be governed by Gandhi family ruled over by Rahul Gandhi from behind the curtain
