Congress policies responsible for its defeat in Haryana assembly polls: INDI Alliance

According to members of INDI Alliance, in spite of wave in favour of Congress and majority of Exim Poll results in their favour to form a government in Haryana state, it failed to return to power in the state due to its own policies, was blamed by the leaders of several political parties of members of INDI Alliance which include Trinamool Congress,  Shiv Sena, UBT, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Samajwadi Party and various other regional parties. They said, Congress itself is responsible for its defeat by not joining hands with other political parties in-spite of the fact it had proposed to contest polls jointly. Congress neglected to contest polls jointly with AAP, INLD and Samajwadi Party in the last stage just prior to the polls hoping to form government in Haryana independently, which may also adversely affect the coming assembly polls to be held in Jharkhand and Maharashtra shortly.

According to INDI Alliance members, refusing to join hands offered by AAP, Samajwadi Party and few other regional political parties in recent past Haryana assembly election solely depending on the leadership of for chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda which also resulted to rift among senior party leaders is another prime reason for Congress defeat in recently assembly polls. The leaders of various political parties  in the country, too, are of the view that self-confidence, self superiority and neglect towards few senior leaders in the party as well as regional political parties in Haryana are some of the prime reasons for Congress defeat in recent Haryana assembly election.

Meanwhile, various senior political leaders Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena, Saket Gokhale of TMC, Manish Sisodia of AAP, D.Raaaaaja of BKP and Omer Abdullah of National Conference, Akhlesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party has suggested Congress high command not to neglect other political parties and find out reasons of their defeat in Haryana assembly polls in-spite of Congress wave in the state as well as  majority of Exit Polls were in favour of Congress victory in these election.
