Six and eight years old brother-sister residents of Sirsa district defeated corona after about 10 days treatment at the hospital. Both were discharged from the hospital and reached home when identified corona negative. Both were infected by their mother still undergoing treatment at PGI Rohtak. According to state health department information, five fresh corona positive cases including two at Faridabad, and one each at Karnal and Panchkula have been detected in past 24 hours in Haryana state recorded total number of 188 cases so far providing relief to the state as no fresh corona positive case was reported in districts Gurgaon, Palwal and Nuh declared Hot Spots in the state in past 24 hours. Information reveals that 31 patients suffering from corona have been cured so far in the state. Information also reveals that out of total number of samples of corona suspected patients sent for testing in past 48 hours, the report of 2000 samples has been identified negative in past 24 hours and the report of 1346 samples yet  awaited.

When talked to Haryana health minister Anil Vij about acute shortage of doctors in the government hospitals in the state facing threat of epidemic outbreak at present, Vij told that out of total number of nearly 1400 doctors applied for job, appointment letters were issued to 312 doctors to join duties at their preferred place of posting but only 196 doctors joined duties and final notices has been sent to 116 doctors to join duty within a week failing which their appointment would be cancelled.. Vij told that mobile clinics have been launched to provide medical services at their doors due to lock down declared in the state and patients are unable to attend OPD at the hospitals for which as many as 15 Haryana Roadways buses has been deployed for such clinics. Vij said that state health department has been advised to adopt strict measures while making procurement of PPE kits for medical staff and ventilators for the patients and only products having quality certification should be purchased from private companies.
